The THE EVENTEERS Awards, promoted by Event Point, are part of the REINVENT THE EVENT and aim to recognize individuals whose work and performance contribute to the quality and advancement of the events industry in Portugal.

These Awards are aimed at individuals who have carried out their work in Portugal, even if they are part of multinational companies.

One award will be given in each of the five categories. In addition, an Award will be presented by the Event Point editorial team.

The award categories are:

Technology – The person who lives and breathes technology and is able to find the best technical solutions for every challenge.

Inspiration – The person who, regardless of their role, inspires others, brings out the best in those around them, and is always willing to help, whether supporting people, causes or challenges within the industry.

Art – The person who, whether an event manager or working in technical or creative roles, brings beauty to everything they do, and has a unique ability to use design, imagery and aesthetics to create truly remarkable events or services.

Craft – The person for whom nothing is impossible. On the contrary, there is always a solution to every problem, even if it means improvising or inspiring others to believe in the seemingly impossible.

Rising Talent – Young professionals up to the age of 30 who show great promise in the events industry, across any field, bringing fresh ideas, creativity and innovation.

Phase 1:

Nominees will be selected from a list of names suggested by Event Point readers through a form published on the REINVENT and Event Point platforms, until June 5. After receiving the nominations, the Event Point editorial team compiles the most frequently nominated names.

Phase 2:

This list of nominees is then presented to the Jury, who will evaluate all entries and vote for five names in each category. The most voted names will become the finalists in each category.
A nominee cannot be a finalist in more than one category; in such cases, the category in which they received the highest number of jury votes will be selected.

Phase 3:

At this stage, Event Point presents the list of finalists in each category, along with a short biography for each. The public then selects the winner in each category through a form available on the REINVENT and Event Point platforms. Voting will be open from July 6 to October 2.

The Jury will vote again, this time on the list of finalists in each category.

The winners in each category will be determined through a combined weighting of jury votes (60%) and public votes (40%), and will be announced at REINVENT THE EVENT, on October 19, 2026, at the Estoril Congress Center. In the event of a tie, the Jury’s vote will prevail or, if necessary, the Jury President will cast the deciding vote.

In coordination with Event Point, and following the nomination and voting process, the Jury may also decide to award an additional Special Prize in the presented categories to an individual or institution that has stood out significantly in the sector.

The entire voting process ends on October 9 and is continuously monitored by the Event Point editorial team together with the THE EVENTEERS Awards Jury.

If an award recipient is not present at the event or the Awards Ceremony, the prize will be delivered at a later date.

Results will be announced exclusively during the Awards Ceremony.

THE EVENTEERS Awards can only be won once by the same person in each category (in subsequent years, they may win in different categories, but never the same one again).
In 2023, the winners were Pedro Magalhães (Technology), Pedro Rodrigues (Inspiration), Joana Vasconcelos (Art), Ana Ludovina (Craft), and David Alface (Rising Talent). The Editorial Award was presented to Manuel Vaz.
In 2024, the winners were Luís Bombico (Technology), Célia Caeiro (Inspiration), Paulo Magalhães (Art), Filipe Trindade (Inspiration), and Bárbara Barbosa (Rising Talent). The Editorial Award was presented to Gonçalo Castel-Branco.
In 2026, the winners were João Cardoso (Technology), Gonçalo Oliveira (Inspiration), Maria Tiago (Art), Pedro Magalhães (Craft), and Madalena Rodrigues (Rising Talent). The Editorial Award was presented to Sónia Brochado.

Event Point reserves the right to modify the categories and/or the voting format in future editions of the Awards.

THE JURY

The Jury for the 2026 edition will be composed of 11 professionals with a recognized track record in the events industry (agencies, service providers, associations, and media).

Jury members are not eligible for the edition of the Awards they are evaluating and therefore cannot win in any category.

Any matters not covered by these regulations will be decided by the Jury President, and such decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

Announcement of the winners: The winners will be announced during an Awards Ceremony held at REINVENT THE EVENT, on October 19, 2026, at the Estoril Congress Center, at 6:25 PM or according to the schedule presented in the program.
